Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • What is the difference between a tailored wedding dress and a made-to-measure wedding dress?

All Atelier Benedetta dresses are made with a sartorial method, that is, artisanal, because they are made one piece at a time, working on the mannequin and often using handwork. The tailored dress can be made in a standard size, while maintaining its value, as is the case for the Atelier Benedetta dresses that you find ready in the atelier. Or you can have it made to measure, that is, the same workmanship as the tailored one but on the measurements of the future bride, guaranteeing a perfect fit and greater comfort. Furthermore, Atelier Benedetta offers its brides the couture dress, that is, the completely exclusive, unique, tailor-made wedding dress, designed and created only for the client who chooses it, designed for her by the designer Benedetta who, together with the future bride, designs the entire outfit, choosing with her from the line to the materials and from the shapes to the smallest details. A unique experience, which goes from the sketch to the final realization.

  • Why choose a tailored or made-to-measure wedding dress?

If you want a perfect, unique and personalized dress, a tailored or made-to-measure wedding dress is the best choice also because it is a very rewarding experience for the bride who will have the opportunity to work closely with the Designer, especially in the case of the exclusive couture dress, where Benedetta will help the bride choose the model, fabric and details she prefers and that suit her best, allowing her to feel involved in the creative process and to have a dress that is truly hers.

  • How many fittings are needed to make a wedding dress?

Usually there are 2 important fittings, with a third dress fitting. The couture tailored dress, that is exclusive and designed for the individual bride, may require an additional fitting for the choice of materials and for the definitions, although it always depends on the case. Designer Benedetta will establish the number of fittings necessary.

  • How much does a wedding dress from Atelier Benedetta cost?

Atelier Benedetta wedding dresses vary in price depending on several factors, such as

customization — whether you choose a ready-to-wear, made-to-measure, or exclusive couture

gown. The type of fabric also plays a role: wedding dresses made with fine materials like silk,
